Mrs. Gloria Gayle Snodgrass

Gloria Gayle Williams Snodgrass passed from this life to her heavenly home on March 11, 2023 at the age of 86. She was born to Mansil Alvis and Barbara Dunn Williams on March 9, 1937 in Abilene Texas. She was married to Hugh Thomas (Tommy) Snodgrass Jr. on September 15, 1979. Gloria graduated from Abilene High School where she was a member of their prestigious acapella choir. After High School she moved to Dallas where she worked for Proctor and Gamble for more than 30 years. Gloria was an avid gardener and founded the Metroplex Glass Club, where she served as its president for 12 years. She loved cats and was known fondly as the neighborhood cat lady. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Charlotte Susan Williams Atchley. Loving survivors include her sisters, Peggy Joy Post and Judith Dunn Williams Carter, and brother, Mansil Alvis Williams Jr. (Donna). She is also survived by first cousin Martha Jean Stone, who, for many years, overwhelmingly devoted herself to loving care of Gloria. Additional survivors include nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
