Funeral: 12 to p.m. on Thursday, 11th of July 2019 at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Service will be a celebration of her life, not a time of sorrow.
Gloria was born to Ella and Deward Singleton in Ft. Worth, Texas on April 25, 1943. She was the oldest sibling to Kenneth Singleton and El Warder Singleton. She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1960 and Bishop College in 1965.
Teaching children was Gloria’s passion. And she did what she truly loved; educating elementary students in the Dallas County School District for a total of 36 years. She was called mother, aunt or sister to everyone she met.
Gloria loved music, travel, a good glass of white wine, a great action movie, and taking care of others.
Those left to cherish her memory are: her oldest daughter, GeGail Warren; her youngest daughter, GeNea’ Warren; her granddaughter, Arbriana Carter; and grandson, Ian Klement; and many other family and friends and students.
