Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 4pm-8pm with the Holy Rosary recited at 7pm in the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10am Friday, April 15, 2016 in the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home with the Father Ben Molina of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
Guadalupe was born in Laredo, TX to Blas Rodriguez and Soledad Torres March 6, 1930. She married Nicolas Moncada on April 15, 1949 in Laredo, TX.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by her husband Nicolas Moncada, daughter Sylvia Moncada, grandson Reginaldo Rubio and daughter in law Norma Benitez.
Guadalupe is survived by daughters Jane Gallegos (Salvador), Belia Armas (Jesus), Olivia Huerta, Petrita Rubio (Reginaldo), Maria Moncada, sons Nicolas Moncada, Ricardo Moncada (Maria Cristina), Leo Moncada, Frank Moncada (Liana) and Jessy Nila (Erika), 29 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren.
