

Gwendolyn Renee Williams, age 63, of Lancaster, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Gwendolyn was born April 20, 1962, in Dallas, TX to Larncell and Yvonne Williams, Sr. She was the second oldest of their six children.
Gwen was educated in the Dallas Independent School District. She attended Elijah M. Peace
Elementary School, Maynard H. Jackson Middle School, WH Atwell Middle School, and
graduated from David W. Carter High School. Gwen also attended college and obtained an
Associates Degree.
Gwen worked for the United States Bureau of the Census for almost 30 years. She retired as a
Regional Supervisor in 2012.Gwen was an entrepreneur and a very good business manager. When her parents became older,she was very instrumental in the management and operation of their Rental business. Also, up until recently, Gwen was the owner and operator of her own Rental Company. Gwen produced, marketed and sold a skincare line, inspired by her mother, for individuals with
sensitive skin.Gwen accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and at an early age, attended and was a member of Sebethany Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Clyde Traylor. Later on and
most recently, she enjoyed listening to online worship and watching Pastor Jonathan Evans of Oak Cliff
Bible Fellowship Church.
Gwen loved life and her family. In her younger days, while in college, she was involved in
dance classes and was part of a musical theater dance production.Gwen was the quintessential big sister to her siblings, always concerned about their well being,and making sure they were taken care of.
Gwen loved her family, but more than anything she loved her children, and being a mother to
her two children, Christopher Jharnell and Jalyn Rene. She was very involved in their education. Including being a very faithful and devoted parent / Booster Club member to their various school endeavors. This included being a Band Booster Club member, and a supporter of her daughters softball team.
Gwen was such a good parent to her children, that all of her friends and family knew, that they
could trust that their children were in a safe environment while in Gwen’s care.
Gwendolyn Renee Williams transitioned into the arms of Jesus Christ, on Saturday, September
13, 2025. She was welcomed by her parents, Larncell Williams, Sr, and Yvonne Boleware
Williams and her sister, Kedra Devonne Williams.Gwen leaves to cherish her memory, two children, her son, Christopher Jarnell Williams, and daughter, Jalyn Renee Fletcher; her siblings, Vanessa Walker (Eddie), Lisa Denell Williams, Larncell Williams, Jr. (Valencia), and Deione Williams (Wendi); many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives.
