

Harland Williams Jr. was born on November 27, 1931 in Beaumont, Texas to Harland Williams and Melissa Moore. He graduated from Charlton-Pollard High School on May 30, 1952. Harland proudly served this country during the Korean War in 1952. Harland was an avid believer in the importance of education. He received his Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from Wiley College in 1957 and his Masters Degree in Education in 1971 at East Texas State University. He began his 50 year journey as an educator in Queens, Texas.
As a young man, Harland accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. While living in Fort Worth, Texas, he was a faithful member of St. Simon's Episcopal Church. In his later year, he was committed to the People's Missionary Baptist Church.
On September 13, 1958, Harland Williams. Jr, married his one true love, Constawilla Williams who proceeded him in death.
Harland is survived by by his siblings: Robert, Isaiah, Peter and Billie Sue; three sons: Ronald, Stephen and Duane Williams; one daughter: Letisha Sneed; two daughter-in-laws: Portia Williams and Shirlee Williams; one son-in-law: Stacey Sneed; nine grand children, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family and friends. He will be missed by many but he has go home to rest in the loving arms of the Almighty Father.
