Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marion. He is survived by son Michael P. Avery, grandson David M. Avery, and Harold’s sister Lorraine Windon. Harold was born in 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan He served in the U.S. Army in Germany where he met and married Marion. He graduated from Michigan State University. They moved to Dallas in 1961. He was employed as an accountant by Owens Illinois until his retirement.
