

Henry Brinker Bridges was born November 8, 1935, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to the parentage of Wysom B. and Clara Bridges. He accepted Christ at an early age at Morning Chapel Baptist Church, Sulphur Springs, Texas. He later moved to Dallas, Texas, where he attended the Dallas Public Schools and pursued business entrepreneur endeavors. He retired from Allied Marketing Group, Incorporated after 20 years of service. After moving to Dallas, Texas, Henry joined Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church and remained an active member, serving faithfully as a Deacon, Chairman of the Usher Board, and on the bus ministry for several years. Henry loved his church family. Henry and LaRese Isom married on June 25, 1975. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carroll Edwin Bridges. Henry leaves to celebrate his life a loving wife of 41 years, LaRese Isom Bridges; daughter, Myra Stewart (Ali) of Oakland, California; three grandchildren, Ali Rason, and Aaron and Amber J. Stewart; six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden, Jazmine, Kyair, Kayren Stewart, and Jermine Collins, all residing in Oakland, California; sisters, Katrina Washington of Minden, Louisiana, and Gloria Jean Duffy (Raymond) Seagoville, Texas; sisters-in-law, Mary Blacknold (Harold), LaRuth Smith, Glennis Hankins (Darryl), and Billie Joyce Isom; brother-in-law, Charles Lee Isom; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends whom he loved dearly.
