Ignacio R. Vasquez entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2017 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was born on September 1, 1942, and is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all those whose heart he touched. The visitation will be held on Sunday,February 5, 2017 from10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. The Celebration of Life will take place on, February 6, 2017 followed by the committal at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
Ignacio is survived by wife, Librada Valenzuela Vasquez; daughter Olga Lydia Negrete; daughter Beatrice Vasquez Sanchez; son Enrique V. Vasquez; son Osvaldo V. Vasquez and wife Belia Gaitan Vasquez; daughter Elvia Vasquez; son Carlos Ignacio Vasquez and wife Annette Dominguez; and son Omar Nicholas Palomo.
He is survived by twenty one grandchildren; Christine R. Vasquez, Amber Negrete, Anna E. Vasquez David, Jose Luis Vasquez, Eric Ignacio Vasquez, Nadine Sanchez, Jose Enrique Sanchez, Priscilla V. Parker, Valerie Vasquez, Cruz E. Vasquez, Stephen Ray Vasquez, Victoria M. Vasquez, Iylene M. Gaitan, Osvaldo Gaitan, Dyana Vasquez, April Vasquez, Randy A. Vasquez, Carlos Ignacio Vasquez Jr., Daniel Marq Vasquez, Xiclalix Carmen Vasquez, and Angelo Rey Vasquez.
He has seventeen great grandchildren; Ayalisse Retana, McKenzie Nunez, Hairo Nunez, Isabella Sanchez, Nevaeh Parker, Naomi Parker, Savannah Gangora, Adrian Vasquez, Jordan Arrellano, Favian Vasquez, Isabel Vasquez, Leo B. Anderson, Lilliana E. Gaitan, Gabriela A. Gaitan, MyKaila Salas, Jayel Salas, Emilio Rodriguez, Emely Perez.
He is also survived by his siblings; Alfredo Vasquez, Cruz Vasquez Silva, Emma Vasquez Castaneda, and Eliodoro Vasquez.
Ignacio is preceeded in death by his father Rosendo Vasquez, his mother Ventura Rodriguez Vasquez, and his great grandson Angel Ray Gongora.
