So sorry to learn today,  1/5/2004 of Ila's death.  She was a dear friend to me.  Hope her sons are well.   Margaret Costa   San Diego, CA

Ila was one of my bff that I will never forget. We had such a fun time when we were together! One of my favorite memory of Ila, which there are so many but,the one I remember the most was when Kenny and I spent our wedding night at her and Bob's house with Jim and Barbara in Wichita, KS. That was I night I will never forget! We had so much fun, the six of us! I will dearly miss her!! Love you Ila, you are forever in my heart. Love Dorothy.

Ila was a dear friend and sister in law.
We share many meals together as well as trips to the Brewer ranch. I will miss her friendship and her never ending smile. God Bless her soul and her two wonderful Sons, Ron and Roger!

Ila was a fun loving happy sister in-law that loved to meet with family and friends. Two of many fond memories that come to mind -  loved to play cards and was a true Cowboys fan.   She kept many notebooks of all the Cowboys games and all the scores each game of all the NFL. She will be missed.

Aunt Ila might have been small in stature, but her personality was larger than life. Her smile, her laughter, her humor will be forever etched in my memory. Rest in Peace Aunt Ila. One more angel to watch over us all.

Aunt Ila was my great aunt. I didn't get to see her much, but the times i did were truly a blessing! She was so full of energy and love, i loved being around here! I'm sad i never had a chance to take my daughter to meet her, but i know now she is up there with her sister ( my grandma ) watching over us! I love you Aunt Ila! RIP

She had the smile that could melt the coldest heart, and the laugh that would warm your soul, She was the kind of friend the brought the best in one out. She was a lover of life, family and loved by all of us too. Although my time to know her was short there is one thing that is certian, That I'm richer and far better than I would have ever been had I not had the chance to be her friend. So with a bitter sweet smile and a tear in my eye I will not merely say good bye, But rather until we meet on the other side farewell well Aunt Ila.

Aunt Ila was a sweet, fun loving lady, always ready to help someone in need.She always had a smile on her face and put one on every one elses.I will miss her greatly.

I never got the pleasure to meet you.Your twin sister Twyla was my next door neighbor in San Diego for many years.Grew up with Helly, Twylas daughter..Sure do miss you all.

Aunt Ila was my other mother, my mothers twin sister. My Aunt was a very high spirited, positive, fun loving woman with the biggest heart. Her door was always open to family, friends and those who needed guidance through tough times. She lit up any room she walked in to. For those who knew her and her twin Twyla, when those two walked into a room together, the room would fill with giggles and laughter. Our family has been so blessed to have her in our lives. I will miss her so but she will always be in my heart right along next to my mother. I Love You Aunt Ila

Ila was such a sweet lady and very funny.  I met Ila thru our Why Catholic classes at church.  Every time I saw her Saturday night at Mass, she always had a wink for me and a smile.  I sure will miss this as I already have.  I know her and her friend, Betty Jennings are having great discussions with our Holy Mother and Father and having a ball.  I know she is at peace.  I will miss her as will a lot of other people.  She was a great friend and a wonderful person to know.
