Iris K Hegna of Irving, TX died Monday June 1, 2020, from complications of a stroke. Iris was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on July 8, 1942, to her mother Karin and father Anar Levander. She immigrated to America in 1961. She is survived by her daughter Jill Marie Hegna, son and daughter in-law Brian and Bret Hegna, grandchildren Heath and Holly Hegna of Aptos, CA, her brother Stan Levander of Sweden, and her finance Robert Triplett of Dallas.
Iris was a fun loving person who enjoyed golf, travel, and crossword puzzles. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church in Dallas, TX at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 18th, followed by interment at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral home ,7405 W Northwest highway, Dallas, TX, 75225. The family will receive friends following the interment from 3:30- 5:30 PM at the home of Robert Triplett, located at 12116 Talmay Dr. Dallas, TX 75230.
