James William "Jimmy" Long 86, passed away January 6, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. Born September 28, 1925 in Dallas, Texas, Jimmy attended Texas A & M and SMU, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Former President of NSSEA, Jimmy was the Founder and President of Hendrick - Long Publishing.
He is survived by his wife, Joann M. Long; son Michael M. Long and wife Vilma; daughter, Mary Joan Boidock; grandchildren, Taylor Long, Caroline Long, Billy Boidock, Stephen Boidock and wife Erin, and Anne Marie Boidock; sister, Patricia "Patty" Ann Long.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Calvary Hill North Mausoluem Chapel. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
