

James Barron Mitchell was promoted from this life on January 18, 2021 in Dallas Texas, to his heavenly home. He was born on November 19, 1976 in Dallas, Texas to Betty Dorrise Lyon Mitchell and Michael Wayne Mitchell both from Dallas, Texas. James graduated from Balch Springs Christian Academy in 1995. He was one of thirteen students graduating that year. After he graduated he eventually joined the United States Army National Guard, serving in Company B 249 SIG BN Grade PV1. His classification was Specialty Multi-channel Transmission System Operator Maintainer. While in the service he Received the National Defense Service Metal, Army Service Ribbon, Marksman Marksmanship Qualification Badge, with Rifle Bar. He had a Honorable Discharge. James worked at multiple companies until Feb 2008, where he became a member of the International Painters and Allied Trade Industry as a Trade Show Decorator. He became a member of the Local IUPAT Local Union 756 here in Dallas, Texas. James is survived by his parents, Betty and Michael Mitchell, both of Dallas, Texas, his sister, Julia and husband Chris Trent and their two children, Elizabeth and Thomas Trent, all four from Princeton, Texas, his three sons, Kaleb Watson, Casey Mitchell and James Barron Mitchell II, all three born in Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by 2 great aunts, Peggy King from Smithsville, Arkansas, Barbara Nowlin from Forney, Texas, one great uncle, Doug Gaddis of Rockwall, Texas, three uncles, Phil Lyon, Joe Autrey and James Daniels, three aunts, Jo Autrey, Martha Daniels and Barbara Hall, multiple cousins, great cousins, great, great cousins, great, great, great, great cousins and numerous friends and co workers. All from all over the parts of The United States. James is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Judy and James Lyon, paternal grandparents, Peggy and Wayne Mitchell, aunt Sharon Mitchell, multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins. James will be greatly missed and loved by many
