

Mary Jane Aston Wright, formerly of Tyler and Dallas, passed on to be more fully with her dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 27th in Denton. Having suffered two debilitating strokes a year apart, she persevered until reaching her 48th wedding anniversary with her beloved husband Earby A. Wright, after which she surrendered peacefully to be taken into Paradise at 90 years of age. Jane, as she was known to all her family and friends, was the daughter of E. Burns Aston and Lucile Westenberger Aston of Highland Park. She graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Sullins Junior College in Bristol, Viginia, UCLA Los Angeles, California, and SMU. She was the retired owner of Wright’s Spring Crest Draperies in Tyler and a member of Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler, a founding member of the Marvin Prayer Warriors, the Friendly Bible Class, the Daughters of the Nile and Tyler ’51Literary Club. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 wonderful years, Earby A. Wright now of Denton, step-children Michael Wright of Denton and Teresa Beckham of Farmers Branch, nephews Garry Aston of San Angelo, Randall Aston of Georgetown, Robert Aston of San Antonio, William Aston of Rowlett, Charles Boyd of Houston, niece Jeanne Aston Diana of San Antonio, sister-in-law Jane Kinsey of Georgetown, grandchildren Andrea Beckham of Farmers Branch, Amy Guerney of Ft. Worth, Abbey Phillips of Farmers Branch, David Wright, Darla Nalley, Esther Wright all of Denton, and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services and internment will be held at Sparkman-Hillcrest in Dallas on November 2, at 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler on Friday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m.
