Janell grew up in Hahnville, LA along with her 8 siblings. She graduated from Hahnville High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University before devoting herself to raising her beloved daughter, Jessica, as a stay-at-home mother. She attended every school event including awards ceremonies, basketball games, cheerleading events, and golf matches.
In her later years Janell found her true joy as a grandmother to Avery and Reagan. The girls will always cherish the time they got to spend with their Gran, from playing hide-and-seek to eating more sweets than their mom typically allows.
She is preceded in death by her father Oliver Troxler, Jr. She is survived by daughter Jessica Campbell, son-in-law Matthew, granddaughters Avery and Reagan, mother Edvidge Troxler, siblings Ranell Troxler, Bonita Troxler, Ryan Troxler (Andrea), Dean Troxler, Jenainne Troxler, Errol Troxler, Scott Troxler (Melanie), and Jamie Freeland (Jim), and her nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held on December 15, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, located at 6306 Kenwood Ave, Dallas, TX 75214, United States. Inurnment will follow the mass at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Sunset Columbarium.
