Jessie Lee Miller

Mrs. Miller was born and raised in McKinney Texas. Her parents were Charley and Arlena Rutledge.

She was saved in the Church of Christ in McKinney at age 14 and rededicated her life at a revival later on in life. Mrs. Miller married Thomas Edward Miller (deceased) on April 2, 1963 and raised his three sons: Thomas Jackson Miller, Richard Duane Miller (deceased) and Michael Earl Miller.

Jessie Miller moved to Dallas, Texas where she became a restaurant manager and was very active in the VFW. She also was a loving grand-mother and cared for her mother for at least 20 years. She had many friends that she called frequently. She was accepted into the home of friend and caregiver Lydia Mejia as her second family where she was cared for and nurtured as a grand-mother until her passing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Miller, her parents: Charley and Arlena Rutledge and her sister Ruby Rutledge Keats, her brother Edgar Rutledge, as well as her step-son Richard D. Miller.

She is survived by her step-son Thomas Jackson Miller and children: Toni Ann Miller Warden and her children Melody and Richard Warden; Thomas Edward Miller, Mrs. Mary Beth Miller Steffenhagen (husband Tim) and their mother Tina Trimble(husband Ray). Also, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Miller’s children: Lancaster and Elena Miller. Also, her step-son Michael Earl Miller, wife Kimberly and his daughter: Georgie Stevens. She will also be missed by Lydia, Juan and Erica Mejia , America, Mercedies, Marcus, Tanner, Macyee, Lexie, Monica Soto, and Crystal Soto.
