Jesus "Chuy" H. Peña Sr.

Jesus “Chuy” H. Pena, Sr passed away on March 17, 2014 in Dallas, TX. He was 76. Chuy was born on March 16, 1938 to Jose & Mercedes Pena. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Dallas for several years. On May 5, 1958, he married the love of his life, Irma. Together they raised a loving family of two sons and four daughters. Chuy loved all kinds of music, especially mariachi music. Chuy was a hard working man. He worked for Vought for 30 years and when he was not working, he enjoyed buying and selling goods. A good man gone too soon. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Those that have passed on before him are his parents and daughter, Melissa Pena. He leaves behind his wife; sons, Eddie and wife Elga Pena and Henry and wife Angie Pena; daughters, Mary Lou and husband Jerry McDonald, Gracie and husband Juan Maldonado and Imelda Pena; brothers, Jose (Pepe) Pena and Gilberto (Beto) Pena, 10 grand children and 13 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in his honor at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow service.
