Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Moore, his mother, Peggy D. Maupin Moore, and his brother, Michael Edward Moore. He is survived by his husband, Bruce Edward Thompson of Dallas, his children: James David Moore and wife, Michelle of Mesquite, Robert Aaron Moore and wife, Laurie of Liberty Hill, daughter, Elizabeth Dawn Moore of Mesquite, sister, Enola Gay Morrison of Daingerfield and brother, Stephen Patrick Moore, of Wylie. He also leaves behind a legacy through his five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Jim loved his fur babies Ellie, Phoebe and Charlie and he took great joy in spoiling them rotten every day. Over the years he spent many hours volunteering and raising money for various charities. He lived life to his fullest and his spirit will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Operation Kindness of Dallas.
