Joan Dudley Tomlinson passed away into the Lord’s loving arms on February 17th. Marie Joan was born on November 17, 1934 in Olton, Texas, the daughter of Ruby Ball Dudley. Joan grew up in Olton and Amarillo, Texas where she graduated from Amarillo High School in 1952. She married the love or her life, Kenneth Ray Tomlinson, on December 31, 1957 in Tulia, Texas where they raised their three daughters. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Joan is preceded in death by her mother Ruby. She is survived by her husband Ray, her daughters Cynthia Tomlinson, Karen Morrey (Tim), JoRayne Tomlinson; grandchildren Konrad Kaltenbach III, Kristina Kaltenbach Peck (Jimmy) and Jessica Morrey; sister-in-law Jimmie Pharis (Earl); nephews Craig Pharis and Jay Pharis (Michelle); great niece Keslie Pharis and great nephew Trenton Pharis. Her Memorial Service is being held on Monday, February 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Chapel in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army.
