I havent had any words to say since you left us, just only feelings. I know I didn’t text & call you all the time, but I loved you so much, & I’ll always enjoy our little talks. Me & my siblings were so blessed to have a God Dad like you

It’s hard to believe that you’re gone, and I’ll never be able to put into words the joy you once brought into my life. You believed in me before I believed in myself, I appreciate the lessons you’ve taught me and the friendship we shared. You were the most selfless person I've ever met, who embodied happiness and fun despite what life threw at you. Joeey brought laughter to every room, and I'll forever remember our early McDonald days and random roadtrips.  Although we never got the chance to say our official “goodbye,” you will always have a special place in my heart. This isn’t a loss, heaven just gained another angel and God welcomed home his beloved son. May your legacy continue to live on. 

My heart goes out to the Ellis family and friends, and my prayers are with you all through this moment of grief.

i remember the first time I met you, dad went to a party and you babysat me and rabbit you took us to umis i talked the whole car ride and the whole time at umis, my clumsy self eventually spilled my drink and then you got mad and you took me and rabbit home, those were good memories,  I am going to miss you.

Our deepest condolences, go out to the family and friends of Joey Ellis.  Even without knowing our family Joey made an impact on all of us in a very strong and immediate way.  His candles were amazing.  He made them with love and kindness knowing that they would mean something to anyone that may have received them.  The first candles I received from Joey were ones to commemorate my cancer journey.   He simultaneously sent them to my sons and I.   We were all touched by his generosity.  Over time, we got to know him as a friend of the family and one of the kindest souls I had ever met.  His love will continue to shine through each time we light one of his many fine candles.    We are grateful to have known Joey.  We wish his family much love and peace.   May God Bless you Abundantly!!

There are no words to express losing someone like Joeey. He would always call me Spider-Man and he was my Batman when we saw each other or spoke. He was always the most gentle person whose smile and spirit would light up any room. That’s the Joeey I’ll always remember. ♥️

A hero's heart, though not in cowl or mask,
Joeey’s love, a guiding, steady task.
Like Bruce's Alfred, or Ben's gentle hand,
He shaped our lives, and helped us understand.

Condolences to the family for the loss of your love one!

I remember Joey, as being a good neighbor. He was always nice, kind and caring. He shared his advice on how to keep a beautiful yard, keep away insects, and how to light a furnace. We talked about Life, yet most of all we talked about GOD. I will miss the sound of his truck in the morning, going to work. I will miss the sound of his Motor Cycle. Most of all, I will miss his voice when he see me. "Hi Ms. Singleton." RIP Joey, sending Love and prayers to She'Ron and Family.

There are no words deep enough to express the pain of losing someone who was like a brother to me and a second father to my children. You weren’t just family by love — you were chosen, trusted, and cherished.
