Reunited at last with the love of his life, Joel Prager died at home on May 11, 2010, at the age of 87. Beloved Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, Joel was born November 26, 1922, in Ft. Worth, TX. Joel attended high school in Big Spring, TX where his family owned a clothing store. Although he attended MIT, Joel’s loyalties where with his Aggies at Texas A&M. As an Aggie, he enlisted in the Army with his entire class in 1943, serving in Germany and then being discharged as a 2nd Lieutenant. Joel met Nell, his wife of almost 60 years, and they settled in Dallas in 1951 where he worked as a Mechanical and Nuclear Engineer for General Electric, retiring after 43 years. A man of few words, Joel communicated his love of family by a kiss on the head, a pat on the shoulder, a hug, a smile and his wonderful laugh.
