

Age 94, Lou was born February 6, 1918 in Opelousas, LA to the late Paul and Azelie Boudreaux, and passed away August 21, 2012 in Dallas, TX. Lou worked in the apparel industry for over 60 years. He was Regional Manager for over 100 Franklin Clothing Stores, and later owned Janell’s Clothing Stores in East Texas. Lou loved dancing with the love of his life, Jane, and playing golf and gin at Lakewood Country Club. He was known affectionately later in his life as Baba Lou or Papa Lou.
Preceded in death by his son, Marcus A. Boudreaux, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Lou is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Jane Ainsworth Boudreaux; son, John M. Boudreaux and wife Joan; grandchildren, Amy Pheil and husband Chris, Joanna Meyer and husband Jason, Alyssa Gorritz and husband J.C., D’Shea Boudreaux and Brian Boudreaux; 6 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Mary Boudreaux; 1 sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm, Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home in Dallas. Inurnment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church Columbarium, 600 N. Jupiter Road in Richardson 10:30am, Wednesday, September 12, 2012.
