

John Albert Bulsterbaum lived a colorful life practicing many hobbies, with painting being amongst one of his deepest passions. If you’re amid one of the lucky individuals to house one of his prized paintings, cherish them and allow his artistic legacy to live on.
John passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3rd at the ripe age of 93 surrounded by beloved caregivers Charlie, Karonda, Kianna, Terry, Daisy and Robert whose ongoing support at the Beehive Homes of Frisco was invaluable. We are forever grateful for their kindness and patience with John as his journey moves onward to meet his fellow loved ones who currently reside within Heaven’s walls.
John was born in Wilmeth, Texas on February 12th,1932 to Joseph and Anne Haupt Bulsterbaum. He spent his childhood on his family farm in Winters, Texas accompanied by his dearest German Shepherd Jimmy who he frequently shared stories about even in his later years in life. John started his early career in the oil business at Hack drilling Co. based in Abilene, TX. Later he worked for Stafford Lowden in the printing industry, before opening his own business, Document Printing. He loved gardening, building, and telling stories about his adventures and experiences with his ever so treasured family. John and his beloved wife of 53 years Jaci, created everlasting memories as grandparents hosting families for countless holidays over the years. They made it their life mission to provide support to their adored children and grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sisters, Josephine Agan Hall, Irene Kratt, and Juliet Bearden. John is survived by his loving wife Jaci Bulsterbaum, his children Jim Carew (Michelle), Jeri Carew, and his son Blake Bulsterbaum. Forever cherished and remembered by his eight grandchildren, Jessica Woodall (Michael), John Bradley Bulsterbaum, Kendall Carew (Mallory), Mitchell Rannebarger (Korrine), Carson Carew (Sharee), Lindsey Bulsterbaum, Madison Little (Will), and Jackson Carew; five great grandchildren, Danielle, Allyiah, and William Woodall, CeCe and Brock Carew, Jaxon Bulsterbaum, Rowan Carew, as well as three more on the way! John will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. In addition, he leaves behind many other friends and family that will continue to celebrate the memorable life of John Albert.
If you would like to attend the celebration of life it will take place on Monday May 5th at St. Matthias Catholic Church at 2:00pm.
