The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 25th at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Paul Iverson of Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church will be officiating.
John was born in Plainview, Texas on October 8, 1946 to Melvin and Louise Glantz. John attended Justin F. Kimball High School and graduated in 1966.
He was married to Linda (Post) Glantz on December 7, 1968 for 52 years.
John worked in the computer field at Nortel. Some of his hobbies included building model cars and airplanes, wood working projects and gaming.
John is survived by his wife Linda Glantz, his son Alex Glantz and wife Rebecca Glantz. Grandchildren are Brittany, Neela, Leyvi and Silas. Great grandchildren are Cristian and Isabela. Daughters Tracy and Katie Glantz. John’s sisters include Patty Martin and husband Chuck, Judy Maund and husband Joseph, Nancy Grant and husband Fred. John had many nieces and nephews and very close friends.
John is preceded in death by Louise and Colonel Melvin N. Glantz.
