John Pennock passed away on August 13th 2023 at the age of 71, following a battle with cancer. He was born in Dallas, TX. While growing up in Dallas he attended Stonewall Jackson Elementary school, J.L. Long Middle school, and Woodrow Wilson High School. He went on to graduate from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. John worked at various jobs throughout his life, including Texas Instruments. He was known as a quiet generous man who loved the Dallas Cowboys and Auto auctions. He took in many stray dogs that wandered to his home. John is preceded in death by his mother Carol and father John Pennock and is survived by his brother Stan and many close friends including Dave and Mary Poole, Byron and Peggy Jenkins and Joe Thomas. John was a kind, and generous man who often hosted impromptu parties and shared his home with many friends and dogs.
