Mr. Rudd was a graduate of Irving High School. After high school Mr. Rudd pursued a career as a truck driver. He built a good life behind the wheel as a truck driver becoming an OTC truck driver for 25 years.
Mr. Rudd drove for Toby Keith for 4 years, was a bus driver for Daryl Worley for many years and drove for Poly America for the last 17 years.
Mr. Rudd was preceded in death by his father George Hardy Rudd and survived by his mother Kay Mims, sister Georgia Rudd and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
