John served honorably in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Following his military service, he dedicated 30 years of faithful work before retiring from the Post Office.
John was also known as a collector of old coins and stamps, an interest that reflected his patient and thoughtful nature.
Interment will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211, on April 7, 2026, from 10:15 am to 10:45 am.
