Johnny Boyd Whisenant, born on March 26, 1943, passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 82. A beloved resident of Wilmer, Texas, Johnny was known for being hard-working and wise, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.
Johnny had a passion for hunting and fishing, hobbies that brought him great joy throughout his life. He was a devoted family man, survived by five children, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren with one more on the way, and one great-great-grandchild.
A visitation to honor Johnny's life will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Laurel Land Memorial Park, located at 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232, on November 24, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at the same location on November 25, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
