Jonathon Thomas (JT) Hunter, the beloved son of Mike and Carol Hunter, left this life on July 22, 2011. JT was born on February 9, 1990, in Boise, Idaho. He relocated to Dallas with his parents from St. Louis, Missouri, in 1995 and attended St. Rita Catholic School. At eighth grade, he transferred to Cistercian Preparatory School, graduating in 2008. JT was an Eagle Scout, an accomplished guitarist, played most sports, including varsity football at Cistercian. He attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. JT leaves behind his loving family and countless friends who will forever recall his kindness, humor, and ever-present smile. The free spirit behind that smile would often lift up the people around him. Those he left behind pray for that spirit to now be truly free.
Services will be held at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Road, with a Rosary on Wednesday, July 27th at 7:00 p.m. and a Memorial Mass on Thursday, July 28th at 11:00 a.m.
