Jorge Luis Lugo

Jorge fue un hombre trabajador, solidario y profundamente empático, cualidades que marcaron cada espacio en el que estuvo. Ingeniero agrónomo de profesión, encontró también, una gran pasión en su labor como electricista, oficio que ejercía con dedicación, orgullo y entrega. Amaba su trabajo y se distinguía por su responsabilidad y compromiso.

Fan de los platillos a la parrilla, Jorge disfrutaba de un buen corte y de cualquier ocasión para una carne asada, especialmente cuando estaba rodeado de quienes apreciaba. ¡En esos convivios nunca podían faltar las chelas bien frías – las Vikies!

Quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo lo recuerdan como un hombre de espíritu festivo, amante del baile y de la buena compañía. Su alegría era contagiosa, su risa sincera y su estilo inconfundible, siempre fiel a su forma vaquera de vestir, reflejo de su carácter auténtico y cabal.

Una de las mayores alegrías de Jorge se encontraba en la pista de baile. Era un buen bailador, siempre listo con su ritmo natural y su estilo inconfundible. Quienes lo conocieron recordarán para siempre cómo disfrutaba bailar con su esposa, María. ¡Siempre eran la pareja que empezaba el baile!

Su esposa, la señora María Lugo; sus padres, Jorge Lugo y Olga Orozco; sus hermanos, Brenda y Víctor Lugo; sus hijos politicos, tios, primos, nueras, sobrinos y amigos, guardaran por siempre el recuerdo de su amor incondicional y su presencia firme y alegre.

Jorge deja una huella imborrable en el corazón de su familia y amigos. Su memoria vivirá en cada enseñanza, en cada celebración compartida y en el ejemplo de trabajo y humanidad que sembró en todos nosotros.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Jorge Luis Lugo Orozco, who departed this world on February 5, 2026, at the age of 46, in the city of Dallas, Texas.

Jorge was a hardworking, generous, and deeply empathetic man whose qualities left a lasting mark on every place he was part of. An agricultural engineer by profession, he also found a great passion in his work as an electrician, a trade he carried out with dedication, pride, and commitment. He loved his work and was known for his strong sense of responsibility and dependability.

A fan of grilled dishes, Jorge greatly enjoyed a good cut of meat and any opportunity for a barbecue, especially when surrounded by those he cared about. At those gatherings, there was never a shortage of ice-cold beers — the Vikies!

Those who had the privilege of knowing him remember him as a man with a festive spirit, a love for dancing, and an appreciation for good company. His joy was contagious, his laughter sincere, and his style unmistakable — always faithful to his cowboy way of dressing, a reflection of his authentic and steadfast character.

One of Jorge’s greatest joys was found on the dance floor. He was a great dancer, always ready with his natural rhythm and unmistakable style. Those who knew him will forever remember how much he enjoyed dancing with his wife, María. They were always the couple who started the dance!

His wife, Mrs. María Lugo; his parents, Jorge Lugo and Olga Orozco; his siblings, Brenda and Víctor Lugo; his step-sons, uncles, aunts, cousins, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends, will forever cherish the memory of his unconditional love and his steady, joyful presence.

Jorge leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends. His memory will live on in every lesson, every shared celebration, and in the example of hard work and humanity he instilled in all of us.
