Jose "Cheo" Quintin Martinez

Jose "Cheo" Quintin Martinez, age 96, passed away on November 17, 2023 in Carrollton, Texas. He was born on October 31, 1927 in Matanzas, Cuba to Alejandro Martinez and Zoila Lima. Cheo was raised in Perico, Cuba.

He married the love of his life, Mirta Quintana in 1956 and the couple had one child. Jose worked at A&W Cullum for more than 20 years.

In his spare time Cheo enjoyed watching The Texas Rangers, going to casinos and telling stories about his time in Cuba. But above all he loved being with his wife. They were inseparable, they would always be together. They especially liked going to visit family.

His family and friends will always remember him as a caring and giving person. Who always took care of his family. A true family man.

He is preceded in death by: wife, Mirta Martinez (2013); parents, Alejandro Martinez and Zoila Lima; brothers, Dagoberto Martinez and Pedro Martinez; sisters, Reyna Martinez and Zoila Martinez
