Jose Reyes Ruiz

José Reyes Ruiz nació el 6 de enero de 1968, hijo de Gregoria y Javier Ruiz. Falleció el 9 de mayo de 2026 en Lawton, Oklahoma, a la edad de 58 años. Se le rendirá homenaje mediante servicios fúnebres en Dallas, Texas.

Criado en Dallas, Texas, José se graduó de W.H. Adamson High School en 1986. Cinco años más tarde, en 1991, se unió en matrimonio con María Del Socorro Ruiz, con quien formó una familia de 5 hijos. Trabajó por más de 15 años como remodelador independiente en Lawton, Oklahoma.

Para José, el tiempo con la familia y amigos era sagrado, y su mayor alegría era consentir a sus nietos. Entre sus pasatiempos favoritos destacaban las visitas a los casinos, las compras, apoyar a los Green Bay Packers, ver partidos de fútbol y disfrutar de sus siestas. Deja un legado como una persona noble, bromista, juguetona, sumamente acogedora, amorosa y un gran anfitrión.

Precedido en muerte por sus padres Javier y Georgina Ruiz, y su hermana Julia Antonia.

Su recuerdo permanecerá en su esposa María Del Socorro; sus hijos Vanessa Ibarra, Jesús, Juan, Annabel y Kristina; sus nietos; sus hermanos Francisco Javier, Ubaldo y Juan; y sus hermanas María Del Socorro, Adela, Manuela y Gloria.

Su vida estuvo marcada por la fe y una generosidad incansable hacia su comunidad.

El velorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Calvary Hill, ubicada en 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220, el 19 de mayo de 2026, de 1:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m.; el Santo Rosario se rezará a las 6:00 p. m.

La Misa de Exequial se celebrará en la Iglesia Católica St. James, ubicada en 1002 E. Saner Ave, Dallas, TX 75216, el 20 de mayo de 2026, de 10:30 a. m. a 11:30 a. m.

El sepelio, se llevará a cabo en el Cementerio Calvary Hill, ubicado en 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220, el 20 de mayo de 2026, de 12:00 p. m. a 12:30 p. m.

Jose Reyes Ruiz was born on January 6, 1968 to Gregoria and Javier Ruiz. He passed away on May 9, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 58. He will be honored through services in Dallas, Texas.

Jose was raised in Dallas, TX and graduated from W.H. Adamson High School in 1986. He married Maria Del Socorro Ruiz in 1991 and the couple had 5 children. He was a self-employed romodeler at Lawton, Oklahoma where he worked for more than 15 years.

In his spare time Jose enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends often delighting in spoiling his beloved grandchildren. Enjoyed going to the casinos, shopping, watching Greenbay football games, watching soccer and taking naps. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind, joking, playful, very welcoming, loving and a great host.

He is preceded in death by his father Javier Ruiz and his mother Gregoria Ruiz, and sister Julia Antonia.

Survived by brothers, Francisco Javier, Ubaldo, Juan; sisters, Maria Del Socorro, Adela, Manuela, and Gloria; wife, Maria Del Socorro Ruiz; children, Vanessa Ibarra, Jesus, Juan, Annabel and Kristina, and his loving grandchildren.

He lived his life of generosity and faith, always giving back to their community and uplifting those around him.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220, on May 19, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the Holy Rosary recited at 6:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. James Catholic Church, 1002 E. Saner Ave, Dallas, TX 75216, on May 20, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220, on May 20, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
