

Jose Manuel Vasquez 'Joe" was born on August 19,1971 to Jesse and Maria Vasquez. He grew up in Dallas, Texas with his older brother Jesse Vasquez; wife Tina Vasquez , older sister Rebecca Sandoval; husband Charlie and younger sister Victoria Vasquez. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years Diane Vasquez and his son Christopher Vasquez and daughter in law Gabriela Vasquez. Jose and Diane have 2 grandchildren Sofia and Santiago Vasquez. His In-laws Fred & Rosa Garcia, sister in laws Rosalinda Deleza; Crystal Garcia; Brother in law Fred Jr & wife Cynthia Garcia. Jose has many loving nieces and nephews.
Jose graduated from Sunset High School 1989, Saxaphone player with Sunset Marching Band 1986-1989, ITT Technical Institute 1992. Fujitsu Network Communications 2 1/2 years, Decibel Products 5 years, Jose started the Titans Softball club men & co-ed leagues in 1997 managed and coached for several years. He also coached his son's basketball team "Timber Wolves' & Chili Dawgs" in 97, 98 & 2000 , Nabi Bowling league, Red Oak Volunteer Fireman 2001,Red Oak Chamber of Commerce 2000, Red Oak planning & Zoning 2001, Operations Manager at Total Metal Products for over 20 years. His love for golf was so huge he created his own golf league B&C with over 20 members. Some of his hobbies included working on his 72 Chevy truck, reading books, listening to tejano and old school music, watching documentaries and all movies. He could easily name songs and quote movies.
Jose lost his battle with Multiple Myeloma February 27,2024 after a 4 year 5 month battle. He was so brave and strong willed through chemo treatments, stem cell transplants, blood work, and many hospital stays.He fought until the end he never let the disease get him down. He continued to live a happy life with no complaints.He was so quiet but whenever he spoke he would make you laugh! He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
