Josephine Laurea Martin, has gone to her Eternal Rest in the light of God. She was born in Kansas City, MO., to Pete and Mamie “Cirrincione” Laurea and moved to Dallas with her family in 1935. Jo was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas, CDA of the Americas, Court Mary Immaculate #1719 over 25 yrs., and a volunteer with Ladies of Charity over 10 yrs. Jo is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Martin, sister and brother-in-law Rose Marie and John A. Lampo, Sr., and brother Anthony B. Laurea. She is survived by sister, retired Colonel Lena “Lee” Laurea and sister-in-law, Marie Constance “Connie” Laurea. Rosary is Tues., Jan. 3, 2017 at Sparkman Hillcrest on N.W. Hwy. at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial, Wed., Jan. 4, 2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 10am.
