Devoted daughter of Udys Weinstein Lipshy and Ben Allen Lipshy
Joy is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Lawrence Ramon Burk, children; Lori Burk and Chuck Schwartz, Lisa Burk Rosenthal and James Jay Rosenthal, Lowell Burk and Faith Guthrie Burk, Leland Burk and Thomas Feulmer, Hollye Zidell Damien and twelve grandchildren; Evan Burk, Collin Burk, Jeffrey Rosenthal, Nancy Rosenthal, Samantha Jaffe, Grace Rosenthal, Ben Jaffe, Tori Burk, Cameron Burk, Alex Burk, Harlan Burk, and Andrew Burk. Joy was adored by her sister, Barbra Lipshy and sister in law, Linda Burk Oksner. Joy touched the lives of her cousins, nieces, nephews and friends and was loved deeply by all who knew her.
Joy lived a life of generosity and selflessness; volunteering her time and leadership expertise to many Civic and Jewish causes:
