She was born on December 30, 1948 in Mexico (Acuna, Coah) to Jose Guadalupe Garcia and Victoria Castillo. She married Pedro Guanajuato Sr. in 1970 and they had four children.
Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family and friends in Texas and Mexico. She loved praying to God, watching soap operas and playing the Mexican lottery (loteria).
She will be remembered as being a very nice, loving, kind and serviceable person. She was always willing to help others and pray for them. Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all that knew her.
A visitation for Juanita will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, with a rosary at 6:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Grove Hill, with a burial to follow at 11:00 AM.
