Juanita Faye Jones

Juanita Faye Jones or “Mamaw” was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister during her incredible 91 years of life. She passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Juanita was born on July 7, 1932 in Dallas, TX and grew up on a farm with her parents and siblings.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Jones “Papaw”; parents, Mother Della Lee Walker and Father William Walker; two sons, Junior Jones & Larry Jones; three sisters, five brothers, one granddaughter and one grandson-in-law.

Juanita is survived by her sister, Bonnie Hilbert; her daughter, Debra Boultinghouse and son-in-law Greg Boultinghouse; daughter, Donna Lewis; daughters-in-law, Jan Jones & Rebecca Jones; grandchildren, Tommy Jones, George Jones, Kasey Gerich and husband David, Kristy Epley and husband Bret, Gary Janeway and wife Sarah, Kelly Bridges and husband Bobby, April Janeway and husband Don, Lori Shelton

and husband Randy, Kimberly Hackenjos and husband Steve, Joshua Jones and Stephanie Woody and husband Ryan and 30 great-grandchildren.

Mamaw met the love of her life as a teenager and they were married on January 21, 1950 when she was 17 years old. They lived a happy life raising their family together and watching it grow over the years. Mamaw was a faithful woman who fiercely loved the Lord, her family and was a devoted member of Hickory Tree Baptist Church for 48 years.

She will be missed dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had and that God chose her to be our Mother and our Mamaw. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.
