The hearts of the Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church Mothers Board are saddened at this moment of bereavement for our dear beloved member, Kay Frances Hunter.  We offer words of encouragement to the family and all others whose life she touched along her life’s journey.

We give thanks unto God for the service she rendered to others through the Mothers Board.  We thank God for the privilege of having known Kay as a church member and having the opportunity to work and serve with her over the years.  Kay always exhibited a positive attitude and an energic demeanor, encouraging all who came in contact with her, thus making you feel "special." Kay was my dear friend for over four decades.  She was my boss, we attended the same church and were on the Mothers Board together, we were members of the South Dallas Women's and Professional Club together, members of SAGE together and enjoyed our respective sororities.  
Kay was simply a staple and rich part of almost half of my life.
