Kelley Stephanie Duck, 59, daughter of Julian and Emma Molina, passed away in Dallas, Texas on January 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Wesley Ray Duck and her mother Emma Louise Molina. She is survived by her daughter, Eve Cheryce Duck, her brother, Kevin Desiderio Molina, and her father, Julian Castro Molina.
Kelley was a passionate music lover who spent much of her youth working in record stores, amassing a sizable, eclectic record collection and exploring the Dallas scene. Later in life her love of the band Cheap Trick led her to a group of dear friends, the Trick Chicks. Together, they traveled across the country to concerts, county fairs and band meetups, always making new memories.
Kelley had a sharp eye for art and design, and was an extraordinary cake baker—her carrot cake and rum balls being the most requested. She had an impeccable sense of style, and could pick the perfect outfit and accessories for any occasion. She loved knitting and crocheting. Halloween was her favorite time of the year and she lovingly hand-crafted many tricks, treats and costumes. Her favorite pastime was watching movies with her family and a bowl of freshly popped pop-corn. She loved 70’s Italian horror.
Kelley’s greatest achievement was her family whom she loved and nurtured to her final days. Kelley treasured being a mother, a wife and a daughter. She doted on her own daughter and made a warm and comforting home. Kelley had a great understanding and genuine love for people that was apparent to all who knew her. Her love, wit, and insight will be missed.
