I think you met my brother Jason. This is me and Rob with Jason and his wife, Janet, in SF in 2025. This must have been early in the day because we all got pretty toasted later in the evening. They visited us in August and we went to Napa next day for the weekend.....lots more wine! I think you would like them.

It was 1982 when I met Kelly at Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas. Although it was our senior year, it was my first at TJ. I had struggled with school and transferred from Houston to live with my grandparents in a last-ditch effort to pull it together and try to graduate. I was excited but scared, knowing no one at TJ. But everything clicked into place for me that year, and Kelly had much to do with that. I remember that near the end of that first day, I noticed this one girl had been in all but one of my classes: Kelly. She noticed, too, and we just started talking. And for that whole year, I don't think we ever stopped. We got matching camouflage hats and wore them to school every day in solidarity.  We were not the most popular kids in the class, but we absolutely  had each other. When classes were over, she was either at my house, or I was at hers. I was extremely saddened today when I learned she died 3 months ago. Wow. Another reminder not to lose touch with the people you love. Kelly was an awesome friend to me that entire year. But after we graduated in '83, we somehow went our separate ways and we lost touch. I have thought of her and the great times we had so many times over the years. We did have fun. I don't really have the words - I just always figured we would see each other again. I can't believe she is gone from this world. She was kind, loving, accepting, and just so much fun to be with. Kelly was an amazing mother, friend, daughter and woman. She worked for me years ago, but we became more like family. I am heart broken I didn't get to say goodbye. I know she ran her race and is now getting the much needed rest she deserves. I will continue to pray for Kayla and the family. This is a great loss. I love you my friend. 

When we met at Disney, who knew we would become fast friends.  You were not just my business partner, my friend, confidant and sister.   I will truly miss you and cherish our time together.  Rest In Peace ❤️
