Kenneth Roger Cieri, 79, was born in Southbridge, MA on December 18, 1937. He entered into rest on September 5, 2017 in Plano, TX. Kenneth was an avid runner for many years, who completed numerous marathons. He was a very family oriented man, and enjoyed spending time with his family. Kenneth proudly served his country during the Korean War. He relished spending his time with friends in the events held at the VFW Post 6796 in Dallas. He was extremely proud of his two grandsons whom he shared wonderful times with. He was a die hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, having attended numerous games with family and friends.
He is loved and will be greatly missed by all those whose heart he touched. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rita Hurtado Cieri; his children, Zina Cieri-Kaiser and husband Jeff, Michelle Cieri Osborne and husband Joe, and Deline Cieri-Miller; grandsons, Justin Wagoner and his wife Melisa and Joey Osborne.
The Cieri family invites you in remembering and celebrating the life of Kenneth. Services will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., with the burial to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. A reception will be held at Papasitos restaurant, 10433 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220 at1:00 p.m. after the burial.
