Kenneth Eugene Sharp passed away peacefully in his home on April 9, 2012, following an extended bout with cancer. Ken, or "Papaw" as he was lovingly known, was born on May 7, 1942 in Waco, Texas. This past February, he celebrated 50 wonderful years with the love of his life, wife Donna Carol Sharp. As well as being a devout Catholic, Ken was a humble, loving and dedicated family man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his children and grandchildren received a high quality education. He was a master carpenter who enjoyed building beautiful wood creations for friends and loved ones. In his spare time, he could often be found fishing or traveling with his loving wife. Ken is survived by his six children, Kenneth Russell Sharp, Cindy Rene Griffin, Laura Michelle Zerbal, Paul Matthew Sharp, Donna Kay Barrett, and Derek Andrew Sharp, along with 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. His gentle nature will also live on through his many extended family and friends. Ken's love and generosity made a difference in many lives and all who knew and cared for him will sorely miss him.
