Kevin Douglas Stern

He was active in Boy Scouts earning his Eagle Scout at 13 followed by the Order of the Arrow. After graduating from Chico High in 1976, Kevin attended CSU, Chico where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Recreation Administration. During his college years, he was involved with the College Class at Neighborhood Church.

Kevin married Kelly Bunch on August 28, 1982. They moved to Dallas in 1984 so Kevin could attend Dallas Theological Seminary. He earned his Master of Theology in 1989. Kevin was an ordained minister in the State of Texas. He was the Dallas Seminary Bookstore Director for almost 30 years. His love of books, knowledge of Scripture, and leadership style were ideal for this position. Illness forced him to retire early in 2020.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Kelly, and his sister, Sharon Stern of Chico.

A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at Trinity Fellowship Church in Richardson, Texas on Wednesday, January 17 at 5pm Central Standard Time (3pm Pacific). It will be live streamed and can be viewed at https://facebook.com/trinityfellowship/live.
