Kim L. Davis

Kim Lynette Dotson Davis, the youngest of six girls and one boy, born on March 27, 1963 to the union of Jerome Benjamin Dotson, Sr. and Rosetta McKonald Dotson, passed on November 18, 2015. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Benjamin Dotson, Sr. one brother, Jerome Benjamin Dotson, Jr. one nephew, Dillon Jerome Smith and mother-in-law, Mable Davis. She is survived by her loving husband, John Davis; three sons, Kristopher (Lauren) Dotson of Mobile, Alabama, Kyndall and Javon Davis of Dallas, Texas, one stepson, Joshua Davis of Desoto, Texas; one grandson Kristopher Dotson , Jr.; a devoted mother, Rosetta Dotson of Mobile, Alabama; five sisters, Clarice (Richard) Wiley, Theresa Parham, Marolyn Dotson, Belinda Dotson and Michele Dotson all of Mobile, Alabama: three brothers-in-law, Jerome (Melody) Davis, Freddie (Jaquice) Clark, and Joseph Samules all of Dallas, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Tangulia S. Davis and Deshauna D. Davis, all of Dallas, Texas; four nieces, Sonya (Paul) Powell, Atlanta, Georgia, Kimberly (Robert) Young, Mississippi, Keisha (Shadrick) Barnes, Birmingham, Alabama, Iris Wiley, Mobile, Alabama; six nephews, Richard (Monica) Wiley, Roderick Wiley, Lerone (Sherrell) Wiley, all of Mobile, Alabama, Larry Smith, Atlanta, Georgia, Marlon Smith, Mobile, Alabama; eight nephews and nieces in-law, De’Marcus, Exzavier, Tann’e, Brittani, Nalcia, August, Janae, Joseph, Jr., all of Dallas, Texas; a devoted aunt Ernestine (Robert) Jackson, Mobile, Alabama; three god children, Danielle Sneed, Jessica Reese and Adam Jones; a host of other relatives and friends.
