Kirk Lanier Wiggins, age 71 of Dallas, passed away on December 3, 2015. He was born on January 15, 1944, the son of Jack Wiggins and Josephine Ramsey. Kirk was married to Anna DeHay and she survives him.
Kirk is survived by his wife Anna Wiggins; children from a previous marriage Nahdiah Hoang and husband Van, Eric Wiggins, and Erin Mosely and husband Andy; step-son Cary Holley and wife Elizabeth; and brother Ramsey Wiggins, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Kirk was a graduate of the University of Texas, where in 1976 he received his Ph.D. He most recently worked for Raytheon as a mechanical engineer for the last ten years. Kirk was also a talented musician and mechanic who enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo, as well as working on antique cars.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 7PM. Graveside services will be on Monday, December 7 at 10AM at Grove Hill Memorial Park with Monsignor Donald Zimmerman as celebrant.
