Lacy Nicole Fielding

Lacy Nicole Fielding, of Dallas, Texas, was born August 31st, 1982 in Garland, Texas. She departed this life on July 22, 2024, at the age of 41. She was a 2000 graduate of JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas. Lacy then graduated from The University of Texas in 2004, and subsequently Texas Woman’s University where she received her Bachelor in Science of Nursing in 2010. She dedicated 14 years as a Labor and Delivery RN at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Lacy loved caring for her fur-babies, Peanut and Murphy. She was an avid Longhorns fan; a loving granddaughter, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and a cherished friend to many, with a smile that would light up a room.

She is survived by her maternal grandparents Jim and Susie Fielding, Dallas, TX; paternal grandmother Pat Britt, Choctaw, OK; her father and step-mother Doug and Krista Britt, Lake Placid, FL; step-father Scott Knearem, Dallas, TX; three sisters Lindsey Knearem, Dallas, TX, Talia Brown, Harrisonville, MO, and Tara Whitley, Joplin, MO; step-brother Ty McCoy, Cary, NC; and 8 nieces & nephews Caden, Mykah, Treven, Ethan, Avery, Kynslee, Makenna, and Mila.

Lacy was preceded in death by her mother Susan (Fielding) Gee, of Garland, TX; her paternal grandfather Doug Britt, Sr., USNRET, of Choctaw, OK; and her sister Tianna Britt of Harrisonville, MO.

Memorial Services followed by a reception will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church 6550 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, TX 75228. All are welcome who loved Lacy. Although we are broken, we find comfort that she will live forever in our hearts.
