Lana Cherie Sosebee, age of 53 of Dallas, passed away on August 18, 2014. A loving mother, daughter, and friend, Lana will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She was heavily involved in the Sosebee Company, which was responsible for building over 31 restaurants in Dallas, including the Crystal Terrace Restaurant at the Music Hall. As well, Lana was a certified alcohol and drug counselor from the University of California, Los Angeles and spent time providing counseling services to those in recovery. Lana deeply loved her friends and family and will be remembered by all for her love of cooking and music. An avid piano player and an amazing cook, Lana is survived by her two sons, Ryan and Justin, as well as the multitude of friends whose lives she has touched over the years. The funeral service for Lana will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 3 o’clock p.m. in the East Chapel of Hillcrest Mausoleum with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. A reception will follow in the Sparkman Family Lounge.
