He was born March 23, 1955 in McNeil, Texas. Leandro is preceded in death by his mother and father, Martina and Leandro Hernandez, Sr. Leandro was loved by a large family, which includes 21 brothers and sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Lydia; grandson Damian; step-daughter Vickie; step-son Gabe; daughter Yolanda White, and 10 grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
While he was a head mechanic most of his life, Leandro loved to race cars. In fact, his favorite car was a Chevy Nova. He also loved playing music, and boxing. He spent quite a bit of his time helpings others. Often times he would lend a hand to homeless people by allowing them to assist him with jobs so they could earn a living. He never met a stranger. Leandro loved his family more than anything else.
