

Lesley Lake, 57, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on January 31, 2020, to be with her Heavenly Father and her father Jim S. Lake, Sr. She was born in Dallas, Texas on June 1, 1962, graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas and pursued college degrees at Centenary and The University of North Texas in Denton. Lesley had a career in marketing & advertising and donated a great deal of her time volunteering for the George Bush Library, the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas Arboretum. Lesley was preceded in death by her father Jim S. Lake, Sr. and is survived by her mother, Barbara Lake, her brother Jim and his wife Amanda, Richard and his wife Robbie, 6 nieces and nephews, two great nieces and one great nephew. Lesley was always known as kind, generous, outgoing, put family first in addition to being her Mothers shopping companion, travel companion and best friend. She was courageous in her battle to overcome great odds to survive and many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of the 3rd Floor of Truett Hospital at Baylor, Scott and White Medical Center. Dr. Joseph Hise put his skills to the test, Dr. Sam Finn was masterful in all disciplines and they both gave Lesley hope.
