1930 to the parentage of Bennie and Bobbie Keeton in Fairfield, TX. She was the baby girl of six children.
She united with the church at an early age. She attended Myrtle Grove School and Dugan High School in
Freestone County.
On Jan. 18, 1947, she married Berry Allen and began a love affair that lasted over 70 years. To this union
two sons were born. They relocated to Dallas in 1952. Here they united with the Full Gospel Pentecostal
Church (1959), Soul’s Harbor and Eagle’s Nest Church (1966) where they both found joy serving in the
ushers ministry. She remained a member at the Potter’s House (1997) until her health failed.
For many years she worked as a file clerk for Chester Clinic. There she made many lifelong and valued
friends. She loved the Lord, and taught her children to do the same. Her life and love was devoted to
her husband and two sons.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, her siblings; Mattie, Lizzie, Penola, Essie, and A.V.
Keeping her legacy of love alive she leaves her sons: Luther (Dorothy) and Andrew (Iris); her grandson,
Marcus; her great grand children De’Landra and Noah; and her great great grandson Carson. She leaves
a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
