Lilly met her husband, John Arriaga, in middle school and they went on to get married on March 26th, 1966. Together they built a family on San Diego Drive, a home known to many, where they raised their three children. Lilly, not only being devoted to her family but especially to Christ, was nearly a lifelong member of St. Pius X Catholic Parish.
While caring for her children and creating a home for anyone who needed one, Lilly was also the hardest worker amongst us all. Whether it be managing the house, taking care of her family, or working, there was never a doubt that she would be the best one for the job.
When the grandchildren came along, she always enjoyed spending time with and caring for them. Known to many as ‘Nana’, she treated everyone with love and care and never hesitated to extend a helping hand to someone in need. Even through tougher moments in her life, she only ever cared for everyone else to be well.
Lilly is preceded in death by her husband, John Julian Arriaga and her daughter, Lilly Beatrice Arriaga.
Lilly is survived by her daughter, Alice Marisol; son, John N. Arriaga and wife Suzanne; siblings, Tony Lopez, Beatrice Alvarez, Alice Weinberger, Alfred Lopez, Charles Lopez, Sue Ann Davis, Richard Lopez and spouses; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
